Rates

Our studio rates are:

Weekends

$100.00 an hour (minimum booking time of 4 hours)

$650 full day (8 hours)

Weekdays

$80 an hour (minimum booking time of 4 hours)

$500 full day (8 Hours)

Please contact us if you would like an estimate of how long you will need, quotes may vary depending on the needs of each client and the preparedness of both the studio and the clients.

Booking and Cancellation

An initial deposit of $200 per day booked is required upon booking. A deposit for any booking longer than 3 days ($600) is negotiable. Proof of this deposit must be provided within 48 hours of booking a session. If there is no proof of payment your booking may be forfeited to another client. In the event of cancellation, clients must provide at least 14 days notice in order have their deposit returned.

Payment

Payment can be made in the form of cash, PayPal, or direct bank transfer. A tax invoice will be supplied.

Payment is required in full upon completion of each session. All media recorded at Homestead Studios remains the property of Homestead until full payment is received, at which point it will be released.

Refunds

No refunds will be issued after a recording session has taken place. It is our every intention to work closely with clients during both recording and post-production processes in order to ensure an optimal outcome which reflects favourably on both the client and the studio alike.

Studio Set Up Time

Set up time is vital to having a smooth recording session, we understand that this can be a lengthy process and would encourage clients to arrive well before the session start time to account for this. We are prepared to facilitate early set-ups in order to avoid having set-ups eat into recording time.

Start time

All sessions are expected to begin on time. Clients will be billed from the beginning of their scheduled time regardless of what time they arrive.

End time

All sessions will finish at the time agreed upon between client and studio when booking. Extra work at the culmination of a session is commonplace, and can be arranged at our studio rates if necessary and practical.

Final mixes & masters

Final Mixes/Masters will be delivered via email/dropbox or on USB that you can supply yourself or we can supply for cost price at the studio. Any additional mixing post final mix will be charged at $50 per hour.

Media storage

Media will be stored at the studio for a minimum of 3 months after final payment and release of files, after which time the studio will no longer keep copies. Clients should ensure they take appropriate measures to back-up their sessions after this 3 month period has lapsed.

Accommodation

Limited accommodation can be provided at the studio for clients with bookings across multiple days. Clients wishing to make use of the studio accommodation should contact us via email or phone to discuss details. There are a number of affordable options in and around the Ballarat region that we can help you organise if needed.

Drugs & Alcohol

We reserve the right to deny access to our premises and our equipment to those clearly under the influence of drugs or alcohol.
